The Phases of An Apprenticeship

Colin Burke Electrical Ltd

Apprenticeships

Colin Burke Electrical offers a rewarding apprenticeship programme dating back to the early 2000s. Year on year we have increased our cohort of apprentices, with over 50 employees now enrolled in our apprenticeship program.

Why Choose Colin Burke Electrical?

We are extremely proud of our ability to attract, retain and develop our apprentices.

We recognise the need to ensure our apprentices are exposed to and up-skilled in the latest electrical technical developments. During the course of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will be required to undertake ongoing training and development at our dedicated Apprenticeship Training Academy, attend college as required and also work on various live projects. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, apprentices are awarded a Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC) National Craft Certificate.

At Colin Burke Electrical, our ethos is to promote from within to fill our talent needs. Each year, we are committed to taking on a number of exceptional newly qualified tradespeople into the business to develop their career further with us. Many of our past apprentices now occupy roles such as Foremen, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and Contracts Managers.
