Enfield Community School

Colin Burke Electrical is the main electrical contractor for the new 11,747 m² Enfield Community School in Co. Westmeath, delivered by JJ Rhatigan. The development comprises a part 3-storey, part 2-storey building for 1,000 post-primary pupils, including 4 Special Needs Units, a General Purpose Area, PE Hall, teaching spaces, and staff accommodation, along with car parking, access roads, drop-off areas, ball courts, landscaping, and an ESB substation.

Our scope includes full electrical design and installation: incoming supply and main switchboard, life safety systems, internal and external LED lighting, small power distribution, ICT infrastructure, CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and EV charging points. All systems are designed to meet Department of Education technical standards, ensuring a safe, energy-efficient, and future-ready learning environment.
